It was built in 1970 as a North Atlantic survey vessel. She was equipped with an icestrengthened
hull for this purpose and it underwent a major refurbishment in 1986, and again
in 2006 where she was converted into a yacht.
The winches used for pulling the large fishing nets have been removed, the stern has been
altered to incorporate a landing platform, a small swimming pool and large outdoor dinning
area with BBQ facilities. The walls of three research laboratories have been removed and the
area refurbished into a beautiful dining room with surround music for an intimate relaxed
